RESOLUTION NO. 68R-453
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO ZONING SHOULD BE AMENDED
AND 'l'HAT THE BOUNDARIES OF CERTAIN ZONES
SHOULD BE CHANGED.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did hold a public hearing in Reclassification Proceed-
ings No. 68-69-4 to consider an amendment to
Title 18 of -the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to zoning, and
to consider a change in the boundaries of the zone or zones
hereinafter mentioned and described, and at said hearing did
receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein
and from its staff; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty days following said
hearing the Planning Commission did duly adopt a resolution
containing a report of its findings, a sU~TIary of the evidence
presented at said hearing, and a recommendation that the pro-
posed amendment be adopted by the City Council and that a
certain zone or zones be changed as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission the City Council did fix the 30th day
of July , 19 68 as the time, and the City Council
Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place
for a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18
of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and the exclusion of said
property, hereinafter described, from the zone or zones in
which it is now situated and the incorporation thereof in the
zone or zones hereinafter set forth, and did give notice there-
of in the manner and form as provided in said Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing the City Council did hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports, and
did thereupon consider the summary of evidence presented at
said public hearing before the Planning Commission, its report
of findings and recoramendation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that the amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
should be adopted and that the property hereinafter described
should be excluded from the zone or zones in which it is now
situated and incorporated in the zone or zones as hereinafter
set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code be, and the same is hereby, amended and that the following
described property, situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, to wit:

Parcel l:
The south half of the southeast quarter of the northeast
quarter of Section 12, Township 4 South, Range 10 West,
in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, as per map recorded
in Book 51, Page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the Office
of the County Recorder of said County.
EXCEPT that portion thereof described in the deed to the
State of California recorded March 5, 1965 in Book 7435,
Page 200 of Official Records.
Parcel 2:
That portion of the west half of the northeast quarter of
the southeast quarter of Section 12, Township 4 South,
Range 10 West in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana,
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as
per map recorded in Book 51, Page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps,
in the Office of the County Recorder of said County,
described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the center lines of Rio
Vista Street and Lincoln Avenue, formerly Anaheim-Olive
Road as said intersection is shown on map of Tract No. 3824,
recorded in Book 146, Pages 4 and 5 of said Miscellaneous
IlIlaps; thence north 010 03' 49" East 113.02 feet along said
center line of Rio Vista Street; thence north 880 56' 1111
west 40.00 feet; thence south 500 39' 41" west 62.01 feet
to a line parallel with and northerly 55.00 feet from said
center line of Lincoln Avenue; thence north 780 01' 2411
west 229.00 feet along said parallel line; thence north
600 47' 47" west 270.12 feet; thence north 460 25' 39" west
151.35 feet to the easterly line of said west half and the
true point of beginning; thence north 460 25' 39" west
482.73 feet to the beginning of a curve concave northeast-
erly having a radius of 450.00 feet; thence northwesterly
351.88 feet along said curve through a central angle of
440 48' 12"; thence north 010 37' 27" West 73.80 feet to
the northerly line of said southeast quarter; thence south
890 14' 48" east 505.13 feet along said northerly line to
said easterly line of said west half; thence south

R-l, ONE-F~1ILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, upon the following conditions:
1. That a final tract map of subject property shall
be submitted to the City Council for approval and
then recorded in the Office of the Orange County
Recorder.
2. That all vehicular access rights to Rio Vista
Street for the "Not a Part" area, shown on the
tentative map of Tract No. 6659, shall be dedi-
cated to the City of Anaheim. Temporary access to
the "Not a Part" area will be permitted from the
stub end of "HI! Street.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be,
ana he is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and submit
to the City Council an ordinance amending Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code to accomplish the objects herein found
and determined to be necessary and proper.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
