RESOLUTION NO. 68R-452
A RESOLUTION OF' THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AREA DEVELOPMENT PLAN
NO. 37, REVISED EXHIBIT "A."
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did hold a public hearing to consider Area Development
Plan No. 37, constituting a possible method of circulation of
the area more particularly hereinafter described, and at said
hearing did receive evidence and reports from persons interested
therein and from its staff; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty (40) days following
the hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announce
by formal resolution its findings of facts and declare its
opinions and reasons for recommending approval of Area Develop-
ment Plan No. 37, Revised Exhibit irA," Alternate No.1; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 30th day of
July, 1968, as the time, and the City Council Chambers in the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim as the place for a public hear-
ing upon said Area Development Plan No. 37; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear-
ing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and did there-
upon consider the summary of evidence presented at said public
hearing before the Planning Commission, its report of findings
and recommendations; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
Area Development Plan No. 37, Revised Exhibit "A,II should be
approved; that Alternate No. 3 should be rejected; and that action
on Alternates Nos. 1, 2 and 4 should be held in abeyance for
further study.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Area Development Plan No. 37, Revised
.i:xhibit itA," constituting a possible method of circulation of
the following described area:
That certain area bounded on the west by the
proposed Orange Freeway; on the north by the
Riverside Freeway; on the east by the Santa
Ana River and Glassell Street; and on the
south by Lincoln Avenue,
be, and the same is hereby approved; that Alternate No. 3 be, and
the same is hereby rejected; and that action on Alternates Nos. 1,
2 and 4 be held in abeyance to permit further study.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the aforementioned and
described Area Development Plan No. 37, Revised Exhibit itA," con-
stitutes one reasonable and possible method of circulation of the
area in question, and said Area Development Plan No. 37, Revised
Exhibit IIA,I! represents one possible plan based on the General
Plan heretofore adopted by the City of Anaheim and further
represents one possible plan of circulation consistent with the
systematic execution of said General Plan.
