RESOLUTION NO. 68R- 449
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM PETITIONING THE CITY OF ORANGE FOR
ITS CONSENT TO THE RELOCATION OF A CERTAIN
BOUNDARY LINE BETWEEN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND
THE CITY OF ORANGE; DESCRIBING THE PARCEL OF
PROPERTY AFFECTED; AND DESCRIBING THE PRO-
POSED NEW BOUNDARY LINE.
WHEREAS, by reason of the resubdivision of land the
boundaries of the City of Anaheim and the City of Orange con-
flict with the established property lines; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City of Anaheim,
with the consent and approval of the City of Orange, to relocate
its boundary line so as to eliminate the conflict of established
property lines;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it does hereby petition the City of
Orange for its consent to relocate the boundary line of the City
of Anaheim by including the parcel of property hereinafter
described and establishing the boundary of the City as herein-
after described:
Description of parcel of property affected:
That parcel of land, being a portion of the Southeast
quarter of Section 26, Township 4 South, Range 10 West,
S.B.B. & M., being a portion of Rancho San Juan Cajon
de Santa Ana, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 51,
page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
California, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the existing City Limit line of
the City of Anaheim, as established by the Kate1la
Annexation to the City of Anaheim, passed by Ordinance
1119, January 30, 1957, filed with the Secretary of
State March 4, 1957, said point being distant from the
Southwest corner of the Southeast quarter of said Sec-
tion 26, the following courses and distances: North
10 19' 07" \.Jest 455.43 feet, more or less, North 710
10' 50" East 42.04 feet, more or less, said last
mentioned Southwest corner also being, for the purpose
of this description, the centerline intersection of
Lewis Street and Chapman Avenue, as said intersection
is shown on a Map of Tract No. 2413, recorded in Book
73, pages 21 through 23 of Miscellaneous Maps, records
of Orange County, California; thence
Following along a portion of the existing City Limit
line of the City of Anaheim, also being a portion of
the existing City Limit line of the City of Orange,
said City Limit lines being a portion of the Southerly
line of the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana Rancho
line, also being, for the purpose of this description,
the Northerly line of Tract No. 2413, as shown on a
Map recorded in Book 73, pages 21 through 23 of Mis-
cellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California,
and the Northerly line of that parcel of land shown as

and portion of the Westerly line of the parcel of
land indicated as Not a Part of said Tract 2413,

31" West 41.00 feet, more or less; thence North 00
12' 14" West 1. 31 feet, more or less, to the South-
easterly corner of Lot C of said Tract No. 2413;

Following along the Southerly line of said Lot C and
the Southerly line of Lot B of said Tract 2413, the

West 616.41 feet, more or less, to the beginning of
a tangent curve concave Northwesterly and having a
radius of 1925 feet; thence Southwesterly along
said curve through a central angle of 30 31' 58"
an arc distance of 121.78 feet, more or less, to the
Southwesterly corner of Lot B of said Tract No. 2413;

the Westerly line of Lot B of said Tract No. 2413, to
the point of beginning.

Annexation to the City of Anaheim, passed by Ordinance
1119, January 30, 1957, filed with the Secretary of
State March 4, 1957, said point being distant from the
Southwest corner of the Southeast quarter of said Sec-

19' 07" West 455.43 feet, more or less, North 710 10'

2413; thence following along a portion of the Westerly
line, the Southerly line and the Easterly line of the
land indicated as not a part of said Tract 2413, the
followinf, courses and distances: South 00 12' 14" East
1.31 feet, more or less, North 890 49' 31" East 41.00
feet, more or less, North 00 12' 14" West 41.08 feet,
more or less, to the Northeast corner of that certain
parcel of land indicated as not a part of said Tract
No. 24l3, said Northeast corner being the point of
terminus of the herein described line.
