RESOLUTION NO. 68R-115
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utili tv purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and ----
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of
CARL A. LEMCKE and VIOLA S. LEMCKE. husband and wife:
and EWALD M. LEMCKE and IMOGENE S. LEMCKE, husband
and wife
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
, and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that portion of Lot 5 in Block 6 of
the Golden State Tract, as shown on a Map recorded in
Book 4, pages 66 and 67 of Miscellaneous Maps, records
of said County, described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwesterly corner of said Lot 5; thence
Easterly along the Northerly line of said lot (said
Northerly line being the centerline of La Jolla Street) ,
330 feet to the Northeasterly corner of the Westerly one-
half of said Lot 5; thence Southerly along the Easterly
line of said Westerly one-half to a point in a line
parallel with and distant Southerly 32 feet (measured at
right angles) from said Northerly line of Lot 5; thence
Westerly along said parallel line, 283 feet to the be-
ginning of a tangent curve, concave Southeasterly and
having a radius of 15 feet; thence Southwesterly along
said curve, through a central angle of 900 00' 00", an
arc distance of 23.57 feet to a point in a line parallel
with and distant Easterly 32 feet (measured at right angles)
from the Westerly line of said lot; thence Southerly along
said last-mentioned parallel line, 613 feet to a point in
the Southerly line of said lot; thence Westerly along
said Southerly line to the Southwesterly corner of said
Lot 5; thence Northerly along the Westerly line of said
lot, 660 feet to the point of beginning.

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of P~aheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance
of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay
to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds
of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
