RESOLUTION NO. 68R-440
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 5039
GRANTING VARIANCE NO. 1072.
WHEREAS, the City Council did heretofore, on February 17,
1959, adopt Resolution No. 5039 granting Variance No. 1072 permitting
the operation of a cabinet and fix-all shop in the existing garage
located on the property therein described, for a period of six
months from the date of the adoption of said resolution, upon the
conditions therein set forth; and
WHEREAS, periodic requests for extensions of the term of
said variance have been granted by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that since the use granted
by this variance appears to be permanent and of a commercial nature,
Resolution No. 5039 should be amended by deleting the time period
referred to therein, and by adding thereto the additional conditions
hereinafter set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that Resolution No. 5039 granting Variance No. 1072
be, and the same is hereby amended by deleting the time period of
six months referred to therein, and by adding thereto the following
conditions subject to which said variance is granted:
1. That the owner of subject property shall deed to
the City of Anaheim a strip of land 5Y feet in
width, from the center line of the street, along
Ball Road, for street widening purposes.
2. That the owner of subject property shall pay to
the City of Anaheim the sum of $2.00 per front
foot along Ball Road, for street lighting pur-
poses.
3. That the owner of subject property shall pay to
the City of Anaheim the sum of l5~ per front
foot along Ball Road, for tree planting purposes.
4. That sidewalks and driveways shall be installed
along Ball Road, as required by the City Engineer
and in accordance with standard plans and speci-
fications on file in the Office of the City
Engineer.
5. That all of the above conditions shall be complied
with within a period of sixty (60) days from date
hereof.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in all other respects said
Resolution No. 5039 be, and remain in full force and effect.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 23rd day of July, 1968. // /
