A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER TO
DI RECT THE RELEASE OF IMP ROVEMENT BONDS IN
CONNECTION WITH SUBDIVISIONS, RECLASSIFICATIONS,
VARIANCES, CONDITIONAL USE PERMITS AND BUILDING
PERMITS, AND RATIFYING RELEASE THEREOF HERETOFORE
MADE.

6 WHEREAS, in connection with the administration of
subdivisions, reclassifications, variances, conditional use
7 permits and building permits, it has been the custom of the
City Engineer to establish the amount of bonds in lieu of
8 improvements required, to pass upon the completion of said
improvements, and to release the bonds upon the satisfactory
9 completion of the work contemplated; and
10 WHEREAS, the performance of the foregoing administrative
functions falls properly within the purview of the Office of
III the City Engineer and has proven satisfactory in all respects
I to the City Council; and

I WHEREAS, the City Council finds that there has been
131 no express authority granted to the City Engineer to perform
the functions hereinabove set forth and that it desires to both
14 authorize such actions in the future and ratify such actions
that have taken place in the past.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
16 City of Anaheim, that it authorize, and it does hereby authorize,
the City Engineer of the City of Anaheim to establish the amount
17 or value of bonds in lieu of improvements required in connection
with subdivisions, reclassifications, variances, conditional use
18 permits and building permits, to pass upon the completion of said
191 improvements, and to release the bonds upon the satisfactory
I completion of the work contemplated or required.

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that any actions heretofore
the City Engineer in connection with the foregoing be,
are hereby approved and ratified by the City Council.
