Ms Councilman Pe&rson dealared that the CounciJ. ~viahed

Vaxiance to ha.ve the Commisaion reconsider the White variance
petition. Tt ~ras the opinion oY troae present tha.t the
Commi~slon would not change ita ~+ositic~n from that talsen
in ita original recommendation.
Policy As a me.tter of policy it wa: decided tha.t petitions
should not be prepared Yor persa:~s desiring cahngee ^P
zone or varia.nces, but tha,t questionE regaxding proper
preparation oP a petition ahould be fully answered.
Parking The factora creating our parking problema were dis-
cuased. T:ie disadLan~ages of rigid enforcement of the
two hour parking limit law, from the businessman~~ stand-
point was argued.
