R-2 Zone ~
A neW eection to the zoning ordinance creating an
R-2 zone was aubmitted. The new section would permi.t
duplexea on lota o~ 6000 sq. ft. or mo=~e, and one dwelling
or house-keeping unit Yor each 3000 sq. ft. of lot area on
~ lote containing over 6400 aq..ft. A map ahowing the pro-
; posed zone areas was also preaented. After considerable
.,, ~,,;. discussion as to yard areas and nw~nber of nouses allowed on
a lot and space between buildings, a motion to tlze ePf~ct
that the Commisaion take more time to study the matte:- an.d
aecure Purther '!nformation as to usea ~o be permi.tted was
carried. The engineer was requeated to bring a large map
showing the areas propoaed to be changed, so that a more
detal2ed study could be made at the next mee~Cirig.
Prc,~osed Seoeral plans for extending atreeta through Vine-
Street Plan yard Lot B-2 were atudied. The merits oP each plan were
in Vin. ~ot diacussed and compared, but no recommendation wae made be-

Master Plan There was diecusaion regarding the development oP.
