MINUTE3 OF AN ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING
of the
CITY PLAPdNING CODRVSISSION
An ad~ourned regular moeting of the City PlanrAing
Cammiaeion ~rae held in the City Hall and called to order
at 7:30 p.m. by Dr. Htlleary, Aoting Chairman.
CommYssionera Hillaaxy, Schumachor, (~auer, Martenet Jr.,
and Parks wes~e present.
The minutes of the meetinga oY October 29, s.nd of
November 17 were approved as read.
The matter of Commisaion membership wae discuaaed.
It wae felt that an effort should be msde to keep all plaaes
filled, and that sinee Dr. Bigham~hed resigned, a new mem-
ber should be appointed. A motion suggesting that the Clty
Council appoint Mr. A. C. Riutcel, was unanimously carrieci,
and the Jeoretary wae instructed ta notify tP.e 9ouncil oY
the action taken..
The matter of eatabliahing set-back lines along portions
of certain streets and water alleys and/or righte of way wae
a~;ain consi.dered and the pTOV19101~s oP tih9 propoaed ordinanoe
reviewed. AYter oonsiderable diecuesion, a motion to the
eFfect that the propnsed ordinance, subetantial?.y as prepared
by the Commission at thi~ ~eeting be presented at a public
hearin~, after due legal notice, in order that the aentiment
of property ownero and others might be known, and that said
heaxing be held on Dsaember 8, 1941, in the City Hali, waa
utna.nimously passed.
As ~he Commiasion did not wiah to consider ather matters
at this time the meeting wae ad~ourned.

the a1ty. The out~3ne.w~,s esnt to the City Attarney
and two Aeeka a~o he wae 3netruated by the city Council
to d~aw~,up the propoaed ordtnance.
Last Tuesday the $ecretary preaented the ord~.nance
in preliminary form, to the City Council and the provi-
aione were diacusegd e,t length. Some changea Aere re-
commended, but<:the plan in genaral was unoPfioially ap-
proaed. It is now propoaed that the Commiesion make
a~ew alight revisions and then recommend it for adop-
tion by the Council. A pla:, xur holding hearinge
ahould alao bo made.
