REGULAR The regular meeting of the City Planning Com~iasion
b1EETING was called to order st 2:00 p.m. by Chairman Grafton, a quorum
being present.
PRESENT Cowmiesioners Grafton, Schumaaher, (3auer, Riutoel
and Hapgood.

maoher, seoonded by Commieaioner Riutael and aarried, that the
Commisaion reoocimend that auto sa].ea rooms be lnoluded in the list
o~ bueineases permltted in the C-2 Zone, and that Mr. Thompeon~s
requeat be granted.
PETITION A verified petition ai~ned by numerous proper~y owners
FQR CHANGE in the area affeoted, requestin~ tha.t the zoning of the diatrict
OF ZONE bounded by Los Angelea Streat, 3outh Street, Olive Street and Ver-
mont Avenue be changad from R-1 to R-2, was presented by Mr. (}. T.
Masterson.
Motion was made by Commissioner Riutael, aeconded by ,
Commiasioner Gauer, ~nd aarried, that a p~.~blic hearing 1n thia
matter be held in the Counci7. Chamber at 2:00 P.Pd., Monday, June 17,

TENTATIVE Mr. Victor Bonnat praseiited Tentative Map of Traat No.
MAP TRACT 1175, which had been aP,eoked previoualy by tne City Engineer.
#1175 The Commission reoommenc?ed that this map be aFproved.
VARZANCE l,~r. M. L. ro~d, as leasee of Lota 54 and 55 of the Langen-
bergAr Traot, presented a requeat for a variance in the zoning re-
stx~lations on Lot 55, now in the ~3 Zone, eo as to permlt the use
of thi.a lot Por a service atation, the use of Lot 5~ for this pur-
pose being allowable f~s it is now in the C-2 ~one.
