VARIANCE A verified petition was preaented by Merrifield Truoking
TRUCKING Company, requestin~ a variance to the zoning restrictiono so as to
I3USINESB permit the loaatior. and operation of a truaking bueinese on North
Lemor. Stre~t, in t::e 9E~ cs~ 411C S~~ oP Seotion 3, in an area now
in the R-3 Zone.
DSotion was made by Commission 3ahumacher, seconded by
Commissioner Riutcel, and aarried, that the Commiasion recommend
to tlle City Counoil that thia varianoe be granted, sub,~ect to a
aet-baok o~ 55 Peet from the oenter line af North Lemon Street,
and to the approval of the City Engineer as to type• materiala
and general appearance of structuras ereoted upon t~_e property
above described.

After aona;3erable disaussion it was moved by Commiasioner
Gauer that the boundariea of tlze dietr3ot be 330 feet south of
Kate3le on the south; Fulle:ton's south atty li~it line on tiie Nor~Y.;
330 feet west of Gilbert Avenue on the Weat; and the Santa Ana Aiver
on the east; motion seconded by Comniesioner Riutoel, and oar~ried.

mately l~ maps oY the Land Uae Base Map fo: atudy~
The next meeting was set for the thira Thuraday of next
month (August 15).
