RESOLUTION NO. 68R - 407
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEH'i ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ELECTRIC POWER
LINES, POLES AND APPURTENANCES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for p-lp.~~Ti~
power lines, poles and appurtenances
and
WHEREAS, the owner s of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and ----
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of
RICHARD T. MC ALPINE, JR. and JEAN M. MC ALPTNE)
husband and wife9
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for p.lp~~Tir
power lines, poles and appurtenances
, and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for electrical power lines, poles and
appurtenances only over, under and across that
portion of Parcell, as shown on a Map recorded in
Book 7, page 37 of Parcel Haps, in the office of the
County Recorder of said County, described as follows:
The Northerly 10 feet of the Easterly 143 feet of said
Parcell, and a strip of land 10 feet in width9 lying
within said Parcell, the Westerly line of said 10
foot strip being described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of said Parcell;
thence Southerly along the Westerly line of said
Parcell, 161 feet; thence Southwesterly to a point
in the Easterly line of Parcel 2 of said map recorded
in Book 7. page 37 of Parcel Maps, said point being
68 feet South of the Northeast corner of said Parcel 2.

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHr.R RESOLVED that the Director of Finance
of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay
to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds
of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
