SFECIAL CALLED MEETING OF Tt~ CITY PLAATNING COMMISSION
SPECIAL . A Special Called Meeting of the City Planning Commission was called to
CALLED order at 2;06 O*CLock P.M. by CHAIRMAN SUMMERS, a quorum being present,

PRESENP CHAIRMAN SUMMERS, COMMISSIONERS: Gauer, Hapgood, Thompson and Mungall.
A~ COMMISSIONERS: Auest, Bates and hlorris.
NORTHEAST The Special Called Meeting was called to consider a hroposed annexation to
ANNEXATION the Cit~ of Anaheim. Mr. Murdoch appeared before the Commission and out-
N(?. 2 lined the area as shown on a map to be known as the Northeast Annexation
*To. 2. He also outlined the reason's offered by the proponents for the
annexation and siated tne advantages to be gained by the City of Anaheim
i.n the event of Annexation, snch as a reservoir site at an elevation to
permit gravity flow to the entire city to the West, the additionai manu-
facturing area that would be available with the reilroad facilities, and
fi.ae, he_es_te ?~d a•lailatrle.
After discussion by the Commission members present, a motion was made by
Co~issioner Hapgood, seconded by Cosmissioner Thompsoq and carried, to
vbte to recommend to the City Council that action be sicarted to annex to
the City of Anaheim that area as outlined on a map 3pecified as the North-
east No. 2 Annexation. A copy of the map will be iiled with these Minutes.
