The Special Called Meeting was called to consider a possible annexation
of an az~ea Northeast of the present city limits forwarded by the City
Conncil to the Planning Co~ission for recommendation.
!4r- Mnrdoch. presented to the Commission, the detailed boundaries of
the proposed annexation a~ the possible b~nefits to be derived to the
City of Affiheim by the annexation. These major benefits being the
location of a reservoir site, additional manufactiang sites due to~
the strategic locations of the Santa Fe Railroad vnd high class resi-
dential possiblities ia the hill area.
After discossion a m~tion was made by Commissioner Thompson, seconded
by Comissioaer Gauer and carried tha.t the Commission recommend to
the City Council that the area as shown on the map, which map will
becaae a part of the records, be considese3 for annexation to the Citv
of Affaheim.
