RBSIGNATION - Acting Planning Director Reese informed the Commission that Commis-
sioner DuBois has submitted his resigaatioa from the Commissiom,
and Chairman Gauer noted that the resignatioa of Mr. DuBois and
- Mr. Mauerhan creates two vacancies at the present time, both of
which are subject to Council appointment.
RECLA3SIPICATION ~ RBVIBW. PSTITION submitted by the CITY OF ANAHHIM and recommend-
No. P-60-61~29 ed for approval by the Commission at the meeting of September 19,
1960 for reclassification to M-1 and P-L of property located on
the south side of and along Anaheim Road for a distance of approxi-
mately 660 feet wPSt frum an3 1,000 feet east from the intersection
of Anaheim Road and Miller Street.
The Commission was informed that the City Councii had referred this
case to the Qommission for amendment of Resolution No. 72, Series
60-61, which had recommended approvai of Reclassification No.P-60-
61-29, request ior reclassification of property utilized by Auto-
. netics Division of North American Aviation. It was nnted that the
l resolution outlined the Hngineering requiremenLs which were incor-
porated with the Planning Department recommendations, and that the
amendment was necessary to eliminate the five conditions adopted
by the Commission because they were the equivalent of the require-
. • ments im~osed by the City Council.
Commissioner Hapgoocl offered Reso'lutioa No. 96, Series 60-61, and
moved for its passage and adoption, seconded by Commissioner ldor~
' ris, recommending that RQSOlution No. 72 be amended, eliminating
the conditions enumerated on Page 2 of said resolution.

Copies of the proposed amendment had been distributed to the Commis-
sioners and it was noted that Assistant City Attorney Joe Geisler
had reviewed the proposed zoning code amendment.
Commissioner Mungall suggested that "pawn shops" be incinded under
Section 18.64.020 USB, and be removed from uses permitted in C-3
zones. ~
Commissioner Marcoux offered Resolution No. 97, Series 60-61, and
moved for its passage and adoption, seconded by Commissioner Alired,
that Amendment to Title Bighteen, Ghapter 18.64, ZONING CODH - CON-
DITIONAL USES, OF THH ANAFIBIM MUNICIPAL CODB be recommended to the
City Council for adoption as proposed, and with an ~addition that
"pawn shops" be added to Section 18.64.020, Subsection 3, between
(n) and (o},
On roil cail the foregoing resoiution was passed by the following
vote:

Mungall, Summers.

in cases governed by the "Conditional Use" Section previousiy adopt- j
ed bq the Commission. He advised that it would require a resolution ~
for ita adoption. y
Cormnissioner Mungall suggested that on Page 2 of the Petition, under
Item 111, Section C, the inform2.*ion requested might be considered
as confidential by the applicant, and that an applicant might be re-
luctant to give this information unless it was kept in confidence,
Tbe Commission agreed that an appropriate insertion ehouid be includ-
ed in that section.
Commissione= Mungall offered Aesolution No. 98, Sesies 60-61, second-
ed by Co~issioner Marcoux, that the PBTITION FOR CONDITIONAL USB
PERMIT be adopted and that on Page 2, Item 111, C., be revised to
state as follows:
"C. Attach one complete plot pian, accurately dimensioned to a uniform,
indicated scale, showing boundaries and dimensions of property, loca-
tion with respect to nearest street intersection, location and size
of existing and proposed buildings and structures, froat, side, and
, rear yard setbacks, roadways, off-street parking facilities, access
drives, waits, landscaped areas, any pertinent aaalytical or market
research data (aay such-data wili be heid in confidence if requested),
and such other data which will clarify and support the proposed use
of the subject property."
