WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of thc City of Anaheim has received a
2 Verified Petition from Manuel and Aurora Alonzo, 9221 Placentia Avenue, Anaheim,as
~wners of a certain parcel of real property situated in the City of Anaheim, Count2
3 of 0r~-~e, State of 0aliforn~s., described as follows:
4 Starting at a point 33 feet from the center line of East Vermont Avenue and
extending Northerly along the Westerly right-of-way line of Placentia Avenue
5 a distance of 231.36 feet; thence Westerly alon~ a l&ne parallel to the North
erly right-of-way line of East Vermont Avenue a distance of 3~1.43 feet;
B thence Southerly at a right angle to the.Northerly right-of-way'line of East
~fermont'Avenue a distance of 222.83 feet, thence along the Northerly right-of.
? way line of East Vermont Avenue a.distance of 2?9.46 feet to the point of
beginning.
8 The owners request permission to erect a sm_a_ll Grocery Store on the property
which is presently zoned as R-A, RESID~TIAL-AGRIOULTUwa~ ZOHE.
~ff~tEAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the 0ity
10 Hall in the City of Ar..heim, on Monday, the 5th day of October , 1953, NOTICES of
which said Public Hearing were duly given as required by law and the provisions of
11 the AN~IM MUNICIPAL COD~, Section 9200,' and
12 WHEREAS, Said Commission after due inspection, investigation and studies made
by itself and in its behalf and after due consideration of all evidence and report
1~ offered at said Nearing, does find aM determine the following:
1. There will be an Elementary School erector ~cross the street from the pro-
14 posed site for this Store.
15 2. The Commission is opposed to "SPOT" ZONINGof a ,Store at this location because
no such need is indicated.
