~w~S, The City P!an-ningCo~ission of the Cit~ of Anaheim instituted action
S to reclassi~y to R-3, MULTIPLE F~MILY RESID~ITrAL ZONE, certain real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Or~nge, State of California, described
4 as foll~s:
~ That portion on the east side of North Citron Street, north of the property
presently zoned as R-2, Two Family Residential, north of La Verne Ztreet and
~ ex~ending to West La Pa!ma Avenue, which is oresent!y zoned as R-I, Single
Family Residential. This property Mas previously considered for reclassifi-
? cation at the time the oroperty to the rear was changed to R~3, Multipis
~ Family Residential, but' on accotmt of the Helicopter L~ding field located
~2 ~ across the street, at that time it was held in abeyance. The Helicopter
Landing field hss now been relocated.
~'~r~Rw~S, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the City
10 Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said RECLASSIFICATION NO. F-53-54-28 on the 7th
day of Jtme, 1954, NOTICES of which said Public Hearing were duly given as require~
11 by law and the provisions of the ANAHEIM MU).KICIP~L CODE, Section 9200; and
12 ~.,RFdF~.S, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation ~nd studi~s made
by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and report
1S offered at said Hearing, does find and determine the followinE facts:
1~ 1. The property directly across the street is oresently zoned as R-O,
Suburban - Residential.
18 2. There is opposition from the property owners directly across from the
~ -' i ~ro~osed reclassification although at the rear of their properties is
16 located the new city resevoirs and flood, control channel.
~ w is not good clty pi~nning to olace an R-3 zone across from an R-O
17 or R-i zone.
