A RESOLUTION OF IH5 CITY PLANNING CO~ISSION OF THE CI/Y OF ANAHEIM
GRANTING VARIANCE NO. 296
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received a
2 Verified Petition from OTTO IDSO, 13471 East Burton Street, Anaheim, California,
as owner, of a certain parcel of real property situated in the City of Anaheim,
3 County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
4 That portion of the SE~ of the SE~ of the N~ of Section 2, T4S, RiOW,
S.B.B.&M., in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ann lying Southerly
5 of the center line of the Carbon Canyon WasL; and further described
as Tract No. 1517, located 135 feet north of the Northwest corner of
8 Acacia and Burton Streets.
? The applicant requests to have 60-foot frontage in the lots in this
tract.

WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the City
9 Hall in the City of Anaheim, on Wednesday, March 2, 1955, NOTICES OF WHICH SAID
PUBLIC HEARING were duly given as required by law and the provisions of the
10 ANAHEIM N~3NICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and
11 WHEREAS, Said Commission after due inspection, investigation and studies
made by itself and in its behalf and after due consideration of all evidence
12 and reports offered at said Hearing, does find and determine the following:
13 1. That this is a peculiar piece of land due to the Carbon Canyon Wash
directly at the rear, and in order to utilize it to the best advan-
lA rage without making the lots too large, a 60-foot frontage should
be allowed.

2. The lots as shown on the map are all well over the 7200 square foot
16 lot area requirement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
17 HEREBY GRANTS VARIANCE NO. 296, subject to:
18 1. Assurance by the City Engineer that the tract will not be subject
19 to flooding.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me this 2nd day of
20 March, 1955.
