DENYING VARIANCE NQ, 337. .....
WHEREAS~ the City planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received
i Verified Petition from CHARLENE MURAh'E, 821 SoUth Claudina Street, 3maheim,
California, as owner, of a certain parcel of real property situated in the City
£ of A~aheim, C~unty of Orange, 'State of California, described as follows:
Lot 28, Tract No. 14, South Street Tract Annex, which is further
described as 821 South Claudina Street.

The applicant requests permission to operate a HeaUty Parlor at the
above address,
6 ~q{F~S, the City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the City
? ~all in the City of Anaheim, on April 18~ 1955, NOTICES of which said P%Ablic
Hearing were'duly given as required by law and the pr~visicns of the ANAHEIM
8 MUNICIPAL ICODE' Section 9200; and
9 WHEREAS, Said C~mmission after due inspection, investigation and studies
made by. itself and in its behalf and 'after due consideration of all. evidence and
10 reports offered at said Hearings, does find and determine the following:
11 1~ There are no exceptional or extraordinary conditions applicable
to the subject property or the intended use~

2.. The. granting of the variance is not necessary for the Preservation
15 of a substantial property right possessed by other property'in the
area and denied to the subjeCt property.
3e The granting of the Variance could be de~rimental to the area in that
15 no businesses are ~n the area at the present time.
