PC 1954-1955-144 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
GRANTING VARIANCE NO~ 540.
1 WHEREAS, 'the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received
a Verified Fetition from LA PALMA CATTLE CO. 3022 Studebaker Road, Long 'Beach,
ZCalifornia, as o~er of a certain parcel of real property situated in %. ~ City
of Anaheim, County cf Orange, State of California, described as follows:
Tract No. 2093 which i~3 a portion of the South One-haif of Township
4 4 South,~ Range 10 West, S.B.B. '& M. located at northeast corner cf
West La Palma Avenue and Brookhurst Street.
The applicant roq~ests a waiver of the 25 foot front yard sot-back
requirement to 20 feet and a .waiver of rear yard to 15 feet on
dwellings with detached garages.

WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the City
8Hall in' the City of Anaheim', on April 18, '1955, NOTICES of which said Public
Hearing were duly given as required by law and the provisions of the ANAHEIM
9MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and
i0 WHEREAS, said Cv=,,ission after due inspection, investigation and studies
made'by itself and in ita behalf and after 'due consideration 'of all evidence and
11 reports offered.at said H,~arings, does find and determine the following:
12 1.. Such .waivers have been' granted on interior lot~ in similar tracts.
15 2'. Such waiver will allow larger .rear yards ~which appears to be the
present trend.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
15 HEREBY GRANTS VARIANCE .NO. 340, subject to maintaining the 25 foot front Yard
setbacks on all lots on Brookhurst Street and West La Palma Avenue,' but allowing
'16 20 foot setbacks on interior lots.
17. THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me this _T8th day of
