WH~RRAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anahef~ has received a
Verified Petition from the property owner of certat.m real property situated in
the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
The southeast corner of West La Palina Avenue and North Placentia Avenue
extending 170 feet along We'st La Pa!ma Avenue and 390 feet along .North
Placentia Avenue.
The owners, Prudential Homes, Inc., 813 North Bedfoxd Drive, Beverly Hills,
California, request that the p~operty be rezoned from R-A, RESIDENTIAL-
A~RICULTURAL, to C-l, N~IGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL, except the corner consi. _~ng
of 150 feet along both streets be rezoned for C-2, to perz~t the erection
and operation of a service station.
8" WHEREAS. the City Planning CommissiOn did hold a Public Hearing at the City
Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said VERIFIED PETITION of RtK~LASSIFICATION NO.
9 F-SA-55--21 on the 3rd day of January, 1955, and Jontfnued said Hearing on the
7th day of February, 1955, NOTIC~ of which said Public Hearing was duly given as
10 required by law and the provisions of the ANA~FT~, ~JNtCIPAL CODE, Section 9200;
and
I 11 WHEREAS, Said Co=mission, after due inspection, investigation and studies
made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and
I reports offered at said Hearings, does find and determine the roll,ring facts:

~ 14 2. That there is no service station within one mile and there will be
~ approximately 500 homes in the area in the near future.
