F-54-55--24 BE DENIED. 1 WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim ha'. received a ~V.eri~fied Petition from the property owner of ce. ~r~ain real property situated in Z ~ne ~ity of Anaheim, County of Orange, State or California, described as follows: Starting at a point 1334 feet Easterly from the center line of Brockhurst Street and extending along the Southerly right-of-way line of Ball Road 4 ~?~% feet; thence Southerly at right angles to Ball Road a distance of 810.10 feet; thence Westerly a distance of ~?.6 feet; thence Northerly a distance of 809 feet to the point of begioming. The owner, HARVEY P. RIGGLE, of the Southern Counties Gas Company~ Jesse :~edaris, ~33 West Center Street, Anaheim, California, as authorized Agent, 7 request that the property described above be reclassified for use as a division operating base for the Southern Counties Gas Company which will 8 consist of an office building, warehouse, garage and repair shop, locker building, storage yard for pipes and parking for trucks, employees, and 9 visitors. The property at present is zoned as R-A, RESIDEN/IAL-AGRICUL- lO WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the City 11 Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said VERIFIED P~.TITION of RECLASSIFICATION NO. F-5~-55--24 on the 7th day of February, 1955, NOTICE of which said Public Hear- lZ lng was duly given as required by law and the provisions of the AN~/{EIM NFdNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and 15 WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies 14 made by itself and in its behalf, and after cue consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said Hearings, does find and determine the following fact~ 15 1. That the area at present is reserved for Single Family Residential iS Properties. 2.
