A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEI[~
~;d~rING VARIANCE NO. 283
WHEREAS~ The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received a
Z Verified Petition from DISNEYLAND, INC., as owners, (EUGENE R. LEMMON, AUTHOR-
IZED AGENT), 2400 West Alameda Avenue, Burbank, California, of a certain parcel
3 of real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, described as follows:
Bounded on the North by Winston Road; on the East by Harbor Boulevard;
5 on the South by a line half way between Cerritos and Katella Avenue;
and on the West by South West Street.
The applicant reque'sts permission to erect a SERVICE STATION near the
7 entrance to the parking area of DISNEYL'AND, INC. This will be a .C-2,
GENERAL COM~RCIAL use. The property is presently zoned as R-A,
RE SIDENTI AL-A(IR ICULTURAL.
WHEREAS, The City Pl~uning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the City

Hall in the City of Anaheim, on Monday, February 7, 1955, NOTICES OF WHICH SAID
10PUBLIC HEARING were duly given as required by law and the provisions of the
ANAHEIM WJNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and

WHEREAS, Said Commission after due inspection, investigation and studies
1~ made by itself and in its behalf and after due consideration of
all
evidence
and
reports offered at said Hearing, does find and determine the following:
13 1. That a Service Station should be located near the entrance to the
14. parking area, due to the fact that many cars entering and leaving
the park will need gasoline and other services.
2. The only property involved is that of Disneyland, Inc.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING CON~ISSION
17 HEREBY ~ANTS VARIANCE NO. 283, subject to:
18 1. A conference between Disneyland, County and City Engineers as to the
exact location of the Service Station relative to the final street
and traffic pattern.
