A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
GRAN/ING VARIANCE NO. 281
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received a
2 Verified Petition from MIDDLEBROOK & HERZIGER BLDG. CORP., 5481 Atlantic Avenue,
Long Beach 5, California, as owners, (C. P. I~IDDLEBROOK), 5481 Atlantic Avenue,
`5 Long Beach 5, California, as Authorized Agent, of a certain parcel of real
property situated in the City of Anaheim~ County of Orange, State of California,
4 described as follows:
5 Bounded by Orange Avenue on %he South, Gilbert Street On the East, and
Broadway on the North. Known as Tract No. 2393.

The applicant requests a waiver of the following front yard requirements
7 from 25 to 20 feet on Lots 29, 30, and 35~ and a waiver Of rear yard
requirements to 17 feet on Lots 10, 23, 28, 112~ and 114~ 15 feet on Lots
8 31~ 71, 93, 95, 98, 101, and 106~ 20 feet on Lots 15, 35, and 72~ 23 feet
On Lots 45, 47, and 54~ 24 feet on Lots 43, 44, 55, 61, 67, 69, and 78~
14 feet on Lots 85 and 90.

10 WHEREAS~ The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the City
Hall in the City of Anaheim, on ~onday: February 7, 1955, NOTICES OF WHICH SAID
PUBLIC HEARING were duly given as required by law and the provisions of the

ANAHEIM ~UNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and

WHEREAS, Said Commission after due inspection, investigation and studies
1~ made by itself and in its behalf and after due consideration of all evidence and
reports offered at said Hearing, does find and determine the following:

1. This is a high class subdivision development with very well designed
homes.

16 2. The setbacks requested will in no way ~e detrimental to the layout
of the proper~y and the rear yards will contain more than the normal
1~ rear ya~d¢ also one portion of the house ~iil be nearer %he back lot
line than is customary.
