A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING CO.U_~SSION OF THE CI/Y OF
~RANTING VARIANCE NO. 301

WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received a
2 Verified Pe'tition from K. W. KOLL., 419 East 17th Street; Costa ~esa,, California,
as owner, of a certain parcel of real property situated in the City of Anaheim,
S County of Orange, State of California~ described as fo/lows:
4 /he Southeast corner of Harbor Boulevard and Ball Road having frontages
of 250 feet on Harbor Boulevard and 150 feet on Ball Road.

The applicant requests permission to erect and operate a ~iOTEL. The
6 present zoning of the property is R-A, RESIDENTIAL-AGRICULTURAL.
7 WHEREA$~ The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the City
Hall in the City of Anaheim, on Monday, February 21, 1955, NOTICES OF WHICH SAID
8 PUBLIC HEARING were duly given as required by law and the .provisions of the
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and

WHEREAS; Said Con,~]ission after due inspection, investigation and studies
10 made by itself and in its behalf and after due consideration of all evidence
and reports offered at said Hearing, does find and determine %he following:

2. Harbor Boulevard is a high traffic street.

3. The location appears to be suitable due to the proximity to
14 Disneyland.
15 NOW~ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
HEREBY GRANTS VARIANCE NO. 301, subject to:
1. The installation of curbs and sidewalks along Ball Road.

2. The deeding to the City of Anaheim of 20 feet for the ~idening
18 of Ball Road and whatever widening is necessary along Harbor
Boulevard as specified by the Anaheim City Engineer,
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me this 21st day of
