WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received a
Verified Petition from the property owner (s) cf certain real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as
follows:
It is briefly described as the five (5) acre parcel at the Southwest
corner of Loara Street and West Broadway.
The applicants, L. P. and ~A H. NICHOLS, 420 North Janss Street,
Anaheim, California, requests that the above described property be
reclassified from R-A, RESIDENTIAL AGRICULTURAL to R-3, MULTIPLE
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the City
Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said VERIFIED PETITION cf RECLASSIFICATION NO.
F_., 55-56-15 on the l__gthday of ..December , 19~5.~, NOTICE of which said
Public Hearing was duly given as required by law and the provisions of the
ANAHEIM ~JNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and
~w/F/~EAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and s~udies
made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and
reports offered at said Hearings, does find and determine the following facts:
1. Th~ s a~-ea is now classified as R-A, RESIDENTIAL AGRICULTURAL
which is a transitiom~3 zone.
2. Tnere is a need for additional R-3 Multiple F=~3y Residential
property in the City.
3. The property is across the street from R-3 zoned .property,
