GRANTING VARIANCE NO, 451
1 WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received
a Request to erect a Temporary Directional Sign from AI{NOID CONSTRUCTION CO., 120C
2 North Palm Street, Anaheim, California, as owner, ~LROSE SIGN CO., 5534 Melrose
Avenue, Hollywood, California, as Authorized Agent, on a certain parcel of real
3 property situated in the City of Anaheim, Oounty of Orange, State of California,
described as follows:
4 ~he sign will be located 50 feet from Ball Road on Brookhurst Street
5 on the west side of the street.
6 The applicant requests permission to erect a Temporary Directional
Sign to advertise the sale of houses and lots in Tract No. 1825
7 located at the northeast corner of Raymond or North East Street
and Ia Palms Avenue.

WHEREAS. The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the City
9 Fell in the City of Anaheim, on November 7, 1955, NOTICES of which Said Public
Bearing were duly given as required by law and the provisions of the ANAHEIM
10 MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; ami
ll WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies
made by itself and in its behalf and after due consideration of all evidence and
12 reports offere& at said Hearing, does find and determine the following facts:
13 1. Other variances have been granted for Directional Signs advertising
the sale of lots and homes in tracts located in the City cT Anaheim.
14 2. The grsuting of the Variance is for a period of 6 (six) months only.
1§ NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT TEE A1L~IM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
HEREBY GRANTS VA~IANCE NO. 451 SUBJECT TO:
1. Signs shall be a maximum size of 10 by 25 feet.
17 2. Signs will be permitted for a maximum period of 6 months or less.
3. A permit must be taken out with the Building Department.
18 4. The name of the Sign 0ompany must appear on every sign erected.
5. Signs must be 10 feet back of the right--of-w~y line of any street
19 or highw~y~
6. At the intersection of the streets, the signs must be set back 25 feet.
20 7. Ail signs shall h~ve a 6 foot ground cle,' auce.
8. The fee per sign shall be $25.00.
21 9. Sign Variances shall be permitted for Direction~'.t. Signs advertising
only tracts within the City Limits of Anaheim.
