I~ WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of An~,heim has received
~tl 2 a Verified Petition from BILL and WILLIE MAE B~L, 1027 Lido Street, Anaheim,
California, as owners of a certain parcel of real property situated in the City
'~t~i~il 3 of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
~I,i, 4 Lot 12, Tract No. 2093 and further described as 2126 Glen Avenue.
'~ § The applicant requestspermission to erect a 5 foot brick or
~ slump?tone fence or a4foot fence with ornamental ironwork
6 of one foot to enclose the front and side yards of the above
described dwelling. The property is presently classified as
i R-l, SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL.
~ 8 WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission did hold. a Public Hearing at the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim, on November 21, 1955, NOTICES of which said
' 9 Public Hearing were duly given as required by law and the provisions of the
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and

~ WHEREAS, SLid Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies
I I1 made by itself and in its behalf and after due consideration of all evidence and
12 reports offered at said Hearing, does find and determine the following facts:
1. The Anaheim Municipal Code does not allow any fence or wall in
13 the front yard of any property over 42" high and the wall or
fence must be of openwork design.
14 2. The Variance is not necessary to give this property a right
enjoyed by other properties in the area and denied to the
l§ property in question.
3. The granting of the Variance could be detrimental to other
'~ 16 properti~~ in the area.
17 NOW, THEREFOR. .~E IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
HEREBY DENIES VARIAN~' NO~ 456.
