~EAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received a
Verified Petition from the property owner (s) of certain real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as
follows:
That property lying appro~m:tely 860 feet west of EucLid Avenue on
the north side of Lincoln Avenue to the east property 3~ne. The
parcel is 264 feet along Lincoln Avenue and has a depth of 660 feet.
The applicant, NICHOLAS J. DOV~T.TS and JAMES GAI~F~, 758 Rose Avenue,
Long Beach, C=l~*or~a, ~eq~ests that the above described property be
reclassified from C-2, GENERAL COM~CIAL to M-!, LIGHT F~h~TUFAC~.
It is proposed 'bo use the property for Equipment Rentals.
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the City
Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said VERIFIED PETITION of RECLASSIFICATION NO.
F- 55-56-12 . on the 21stday of Novem~e~... 19 55, NOTICE of which said
Public Hearing was duly given as required by law ~n~ the provisions of the
ANAHEIM ~UNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and
WHF~EAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies
made by itself and in its behalf, snd after due ocnsiScr~ticn cf al2 evidence and
reports offered at said Hearings, does find ~nd determine the £ollowing facts:
1. The subject property is s~mrounded by M-l, LIGHT MANUFAC~
on ~he north and the~ west.
2. This ~rea was recommended for ~-1, ~!~ssification at the time of
a~mex~ion proceecLings, but no action was ever taken further by the
City Council a~ter the annexation was completed.
NOW, THERF~0RE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAHEIM CITY PLAHNING COMMISSION
HEREBY RECOMMENDS TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT RECLASSIFICATION
