DENYING VARIANCE NO. 442.
1 WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of ths City of Anaheim has received
a Verified Petition from JOSEPH A. ABANDONATO. 322 3r~ Street, Huntington Ben,ch,
2 California, as o~ner, ROY S. STUHLEY, 1100 So~th Spad-a, Fullerton, Califorr~a,
as Authorized Agent, of a certain parcel of real property situated in the City
3 of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described ,as follows:

13 The applicant requests permission to establish a Trailer Park
with 120 trailer spaces, 16 apartments~ ~Swimming Pool, office
la Building, Workroom and a Dwelling on th~ above described prop-
erty. The property is presently classified as R-A, RESIDENTIAL
15 ACRICULTURAL.
16 WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission did ~Id a Public Hearing at the ~
City Hall in the City of AnaheLm on ~O~ctober 17,1 !!~55 and continued at the request
17 of the applicant on November o
~l, 1955, NOTICES 'of ~ghich said Public Hearings were
duly given as reqm~ed by law and the provisions Of the ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE,
18 Section 9200; and
19 WHEREAS, Said Commission, after 'due ~inspection, investigation and studies ,
made by itself and in its behslf snd afte~L:!~e ccnsidoration of all evidence and
20 reports offered at said Hearings, does~ifi~d and determine the following facts:
21 1. A Trailer Park creates'~a ~P°Pulation density greater than that of a
Residential, areaJ
22 2. This particutar~10cation would impress upon a residential street,
namely, South Palm Street, a large increase in traffic.
23 3. While all trailers might be routed in from South Los Angeles Street
along Midway Drive to the Trailer Park, there is no way to prohibit
24 them from coming domu South Palm Street.
4. Protests were received from 139 residents in Tract No. 2005.
25 5. Protest was received from Dream Homes, in the process of building
a Single Mamily Residential Tract to the eas~ of the proposed
26 Trailer P~rk. ~
27 NOW, ~EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAHEIM CI~£ PLANNING COMMISSION
28 HEREBY DENIES VARIANCE NO. 442.
