~ ~ESOLUTION OF THE 6ITY PLANNING COF~ISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DENYING AN EXTENSION OF TIME QN VARIANCE NO. 436,
i WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received
a REQUEST from JO-AN BURDICK, 419 North East Street, Anaheim, California, re-
questing that Variance No. a36 be re-opened and considered for extending the
2 time limit granted for the applicant to conduct a School for Ballet, Tap, Acro-
batic, Hawaiian, Modern and Ballroom Dancing, also Baton and Trampoline at
5 North East Street.
4 The property is further described as a portion of Vineyard Lot
"C-I" located at the southwest corner of North East Street and East
5 Sycamore Street.
6 WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission did reopen and hold a Public Hearing
? on Monday, December 5, 1955, NOTICES of which said Public Hearing were duly
given as required by law and tLe provisions of the ;d~AHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE,
Section 9200; and
WHEREAS, Said Commission after due mnspection, Xnvestigation and studies
9 made by itself and in its behalf and after due consideration of all ovid,ncc
and reports offered at said Hearing, does find nod determine the following
10 facts:
11 1. The School ~as been operated now for some time and many property
owners protested the conduct of the School.
12 2. The granting of an extension of time might be detrimental to the
15 public welfare from the noise and traffic conditions created.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COFJ~IS$ION
14 HEREBY DENIES AN EXTENSION OF TIME ON VARIANCE NO. ~36 BEYOND THE 20T~ DAY OF
1§ JANUARY, 1956.
