%fHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of knaheim has reaeived
2 a Verified Petition from JOHN D. ARDAIZ, 1615 Pacific Drive, M:ilemton, Cali-
fornia, as owner of a certain parcel of real property sktuat~d in the City of
3 Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
4 The Northeast corner of Katella Avenue and Euclid Avenue.
5 The applicant requests permission to erect and operate a
Service Statiou on the above dsscribed property. The prop--
6 erty fs presently classified as C-l, NEIOHBORHOOF, COMMERCIAL.
? k~EREAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim, on January 9, 1956, NOTICES of which said
8 Public Hearing were duly given as required by law and the provisions o'£ the
ANAHEiM ~3NICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and

W~JEREAS, Said Co,~ission, after due inspect.,.on, investigation and studies
lO made by itself and in its behalf and after due ccn~idera%ion of all evidence and
reports offered at said Hearing, does find ~.nd determine the following facts:

lo The property is presently classified as C-l, NEIGHBORHOOD COM~R.JIALo
12 2~ Until the recent adoption of the C-3 classification, this use would
hage been allowable in a C-1 Zone.
1~ 3. The granting of the Variance will not be detrimental to other prop-
erties in the area in that the Service Station will be surrounded
14 by Neighborhood Business.
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
HEREBY GRANTS VARIANCE NO. 479 SUBJECT TO:
1. The deeding of l0 feet along Katella Avenue and Euclid Avenue to
l? the City oS Anaheim~ if this has not b~en done for the ~dening
of those two streets.
