ANAHEIM RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM

W~EA~, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received a
Verified Petition from the property owner (s) of certain real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as
follows: Starting at a point 30 feet dist~t from the centerline of North W:cb
Street and ~mn~ug Easterly along the Northerly right-of-way 1 ~ne of
West La Pal~a Aven~e a distance of 316.97 feet, more or less; thence
Northerly parallel to the w~sterly right-of-way line of North West
Street a distance of 120 feet; thence Westerly par~l lel to the Northerly
right-of-way ~ue of West La P~lma Avenue a distance of 316.97 feet, more
or less; thence Southerly along the Easterly right-of-way line of North
~est Street to the point of beginning.
The applicants, residents at .the Northeast corner of West La Palma
Avenue and North West Street, req~ests that their properties comprising
of 5 lots be reclassified from R-A, B~IDENTIAL AGRICULTURAL to R-3,
MULTIPT.R FAMTL~ RW~ID~NTIAL.
WHE WRF~S, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at th~ City
Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said VERIFIED PETITION of RECLASSIFICATION NO.
F.-55-~.6-18 on the 9th day of _January_ . , 1~56, NOTICE of which said
Public Hearing was duly given as required by law and the provisions of the
ANAHEIM ~;NICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and
WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies
made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of ~ evidence and
reports offered at said Hearings, does find and determine the following facts:
1. Thesa properties are across the street from the proposed new Hospital.
2. The properties to the North were recently classified to R-3.
3. There will be a need for Rental Units near the new Hosnital.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAH~M CITY PLANNING CO~SSION
