1 WHEREAS~ The 0ity Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has re-
ceived a Verified Petition from LINTON A. COLLIER~ 2077 Orange Avenue, Costa Mesa,
~ California, as owner~ PACIFIO OUTDOOR ADVERTISING CO., 995 North Mission Road,
Los Angeles, California, as Authorized Agents to erect a Oommeraial O~tdoor.

City of Anaheim, County of 0range~ State of California, described as follows:

§ and further described as the east side of Harbor Boulevard, 1458
feet, more or less, from Katella Avenue~

The applicant requests permission to erect a Commercial Oatdcor
? Advertising Sign (double-faced) on the above described property
which is presently classified as R-A, RESIDENTIAL AGRICULTURAL.

WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public ;{earing at the
9 City Hall in the City of Anaheim, on January 23, 1956, NOTICES of which said Pub-
lic Hearing were duly given as required by law and the provisions of the AN~{EIM
10 MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200S and
11 WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and stud-
ies made by itself and in its behalf and after due consideration of all evidence
12 and reports offered at said Hearing, does find and determine the following facts:
1Z 1. This is the first purely advertising sign requested in the
Disneyland area.
14 2. The sign is requested for an un]~mited period of time.
3. The land is of greater value for other uses.
15 $. The appearance of signs would detract from other uses presently
being built in the area.
16 5. Other signs would be requested in this area which is being
protected as an Amusement and Educational area.
