F-~-~6-19 B$ APPROVED i %KHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has insti- 2 tuted action to reclassify a strip 60 feet in width along the Southerly right- of-way line of Ball Road between South Los Angeles Street and Placentla Avenue; 3 along the Westerly right-of-way line of Placentia Avenue between B~].I Road and Katella Avenue~ along the Northerly right-of-way line of Katella'~kvenue between 4 Placentia Avenue and a point 84 feet, more or less, Easterly from Manchester Avenue; along the East3rly right-of-way line of South Los Angeles Street between 5 B=13 Road and a point 1320 feet, more or less, South of Cerritos Avenue from M-l,. LIGHT M~NUFACTURING to P-L, PARKING-LANDSCAPING ZONE. 6 WH_~R~, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the ? City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said VERIFIED PETITION of RECLASSIFICATION NO. F-55-56-19 on the 23rd day of January, 1956, NOTICE of which said Public 8 Hearing was duly given as required by law and the provisions of the ANAHE~ ~rJNICiPAL CODE, Section 9200; and 9 ~, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and 10 studies made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all e~idence and reports offered at said Hearlng, does find and determine the follow- ll ing facts: 12 1o In order to maintain building line setbacks, improve the frontage with l~andscaping and enhance the aesthetic values, a P-L Zone is 13 necessary. 2o This pattern is being set by industries now locating in this area. 14 3° It is a proven fact that attractive plants have lower labor~ turn- over therefore it is to the manufacturers benefit and the City of 15 Anaheim to maintain a P-L Zone. 16 NOW, TH~iEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ~NAP~IM CITY PLANNING CON2~SSIO] HEEEBY RECOMN~h~ TO TRqE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAH~ THAT RECLASSIFI- 17 CATION NO.
