~AS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has insti-
2 tuted ac~:ion to classify a strip 60 feet in ~dth alon~ the~Jo. th_!~ ~ - right-of-
way line of Ball Road between a point 250 feet, more or less: Easterly from
~ South Los Angeles Street and the S.P.R.R. tracks from M-l, LIGHT F_~NUFACTURING
to P-L, PIRKING-LANDSCAPING ZONE.

~-HEREAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Pablic Hearing at the
§ City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said VERIFIED PETITION of RECLASSIFICATIO~
NO. F-55-56-20 on the 23rd day of January, 1956, NOTICE of which said P~blic
6 Hearing were duly given as required by law and the provisions of the A~M
MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and
WHEREAS, Said Comm.~ssion, after due inspection, investigation and studies
8 made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all ew-idence
and reports offered at said Hearing, does find and determine the following facts

10 1. In order to m~utain building line setbacks, improve the frontage
wlth landscaping and enhance the aesthetic values,a P-L Zone is
necessary.
ll 2. This pattern is being set by industries now locating in the area.
12 3. It is a proven fact that attractive and well kept manufacturing~
plants~ have a lower labor turnover.
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANf~ CITY PL~N/~ING COMEISSION
HEREBY RECOFL~_~DS TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT RECL~SSIFICATI( N
14 NO. F-55-56-20 BE APPROVED.
