WHEREA~, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received a Verified Petition from the property owner (s) of certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows: Lots 136-151 inclusive, Lots 1, 32, and 33 and 62 in Tract No. 1825 be reclassified to R-3, MULTIPLE F~J~I4Y RESIDENTI~J.. Also that Lots 2-16 Luclusive he reclassified to R-2, TWO F~J(IkY RESIDE~TLa~. Ail of these lots are in Tract No. 1825 located at the Southeast corner of East Romneya Drive and North East Street. The applicant!~CH~PION PARK, 1220 North PaLm Street, Anaheim, California, as owner and Raymond Spehar, 1112 North Euclid Avenue is the Authorized Agent. The above lots are presently classified as R-l, SINSLE FA~M/LY RESIDEIffIAL. WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said VERIFIED PETITION of RECLASSIFICATION NO. F-55£~6-23 on the .2.0t.hday of F. ehr. ua~y , 19~6, NOTICE of which said Public Hearing was duly given as required by law and the provisions of the ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and WHF~EAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies .made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said Hearings, does find and determine the following facts: 1. The ~pplicant withdrew the: request for the reclassification of Lots 2-16 inclus ire for R-2, TWO FAMIhY RESIDEnT/AL. 2. Variance No. 449 was granted November 7, 1955 for permission to erect Multiple Family Units on Lot.~ Nos, ........ 3. Variance No. 466 was granted December 19, 1955 for pez~ission to erect Multiple Family Un,ts on Lots~ 136-143 inclusive of Tract No. 1825. 4. Opposition was expressed in the f~rm of a petition with 172 names with reference to reclassifying any of the lo~s. 5. Lots 136-151 next to East Street, Briarwood Street and the Commercial area w~ll remain R-3 under the v~riances §ranted. 6. Representatives of property owners in the area and the subdivider will get to~ether to see i~ agreement can he reached to keep the Multiple Family ~ellings on Lots 136-143 inclusive to one-story.
