RECC~MENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHE3M THAT
CLASSIFICATION NO. F-55-56-19 BE APPROVED
.WHF~, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did institu~
2 mn action to reclassify a strip 50 feet in width along the Southerly right-of-way
line of Bali Road between South Los Angeles Street and Placentia Avenue; alon§
5 the Westerly right-of-way line of Placentia Avenue between Ball Road and Katella
Avenue; along the Northerly right-of-way line of Katella Avenue between Placentia
4 Avenue and a point 84 feet, more or less: Easterly from Manchester Avenue; along
the Easterly right-of-way line of South Los Angeles Street between Ball Road ~nd
5 a point 1320 feet, more or less, south of Cerritos Avenue from M-l, LIGHT I~NU-
FACTURING TO P-L, PARKING-LANDSCAPIi~ ZONE. The 4~cndscaping Zone shall be 20
6 from the property line. The buildin§ setback line shall be 50 feet from the
property line; and
~fHEREAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hea~in§ at the
8 City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said VERIFIED PETITION of RECLASSIFICATION
NO. F-55-56-19 on the 5th day of Hatch, 1956, 'NOTICE of which said Public
9 ~.;as duly given as required by law ~nd the provisions of the ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL
C(/]E, Section 9200; and

~qEAS, Said Commission, ~_fter due inspection, invcsti§at~on and studies
1! ~ade by itself and in its behalf and ~ufte= due consideration of all evidence and
reports offered at said Hearin§, does find and determine the following facts:

15 1. A P-L Zone will tend to protect property values by making necessary
a reasonable setback from the property line and present unsightly
v~riation in building line setbacks.
14 2. This zone will improve the future appearance of the City of Anaheim.
3. It will provide a more or less residential character to the industrial
15 areas.
