PC 1955-1956-151 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY P~NNING CO~.~SSION OF TP:~ CITY OF ANAHELM GRANTING VARIANCE NO. %16 1 WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received a Request to erect a Temporary Directional Sign from HEFTLER CONSTRUCTION CO., 2 9374 Brighton Way, Beverly ~ills, California, as owners, ORANGE COUNTY EXPEDI- TORS, 2202 South Magnolia Avenue, Santa Aha, California, as Authorized Agent, 3 on a certain parcel of real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County 4 of Orange, State of California, described as follows: The west side of Euclid Avenue at a point 16% feet north of West 5 La Pa]mm Avenue. 6 The applicant requests permission to erect this Temporary Sign ~ to advertise the sale of lots and houses in Tract No. 2303. WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the City 8 Hall in the City of Anaheim, on March 19, 1956, NOTICES of which said Public Hearing were duly given as required by law and the provisions of the A]'L~HEIM 9 I.~0U~ICIPAL CODE, Section 9200~ and lO %~2LEAS, Said Commission~ after due inspection, investigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf and after due consideration of all evidence 11 and reports offered at said. Hearing, does find and determine the following facts: 12 1. Similar variances have been granted to advertise the sale of lots and houses in the City of Anaheim. 13 NOW~ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT T~ ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING CO~.E.5SSION 14 ]~2~EBY GRANTS VARIANCE NO. %16 SUBJECT TO: 15 1. Signs shall be a maximum size of l0 by 25 feet. 2. Signs will be permitted for a maximum pe'.'iod of 6 months or less. 16 3. A permit must be taken out with the Building Department. 17 4. The name of the Sign Company must appear on every sign erected. 5. Signs must be 10 feet back of the right-of-way line of an~ street or highway. 18 6. At the intersection of the streets, the signs must be set back 19 2% feet. 7. ~11 signs sha~l have a 6 foot ground clearance. 20 8. The fee per sign shall be i~25.00. 9. Sign variances shall be permitted for directional signs advertising ~± only tracts within the city limits of Anaheim.
