WHER~S, The City Planning Com~ssion of the City of Anaheim has received a Verified Petition from the property owner (s) of certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows: The ~ co~nez of South Placentia Avenue and M~rava Avem,e and fu~the~ described as starting at a point 30 feet from the center line of South Placentia Avemxe an~ extend- ing Westerly ~long the Northerly right-of-way line of Morav~ Avenue, ~ ~46tance of 190 feet; SJaence Northerly pa~xllel to South Placentia Avenue a distance of 123 feet; thence ~aster!y a distance of 35 feet pa~a~lel to Vermont Avenue; the~.~.e Southerly a distance of $5 feet pa~a.llel, mo~e or less, to Verde Street; thence ~.asterly 152 feet, more or less; thence Southerly 137 feet, m~re or less, to the point of beginning. The applicant, T~AS L. MC LAU~r-?N, $55 South Placentia Avenue, Anaheim, California, requests that the f~ontage on South Placentia Aven~e be reclassified to ~CIAE ~ that one lo~ facing on Morays Avenue be reclassified to R-3, M~LTIPL~- WHERFAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearix~ at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said VERIFIED PETITION of RECLASSIFICATION NO. _F-55-$~-45 on the 4th day of June . . , 19 56, NOTICE of which said Public Hearing-Was duly given as required by law and the provisions of the ANAHEIM 5rUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and WHF~FAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said Hearings, does find and determine the following facts: There ~ be a la, ge commercia~ center located ~ithin 1/8th of a mile 2. More commercia~ uses axe not necessary in this ~rea. This w~uld be spot zo-~g by recla~sif£cation. The p~operty can be used for sim~lax uses now in the area, namely, single f~m~ ~y residences. 3.
