%~HRREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received a
Verified Petition from FOSTER AN~) KI_P~ISER COMPANY, P. O. Box 1090, Long Beach,
Z California, as Owner, DAVID H. [ARSON, P. O. Box 1090, Long Beach, California, as
Authorized Agent of a certain parcel of real property situated in the City of
5 ,'.naheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
A portion of the N~ of the N~ of the NE~ of Section 22, T4S, RiOW,
S.B.B. & M., orl the West side of Manchester Avenue, 300 feet Southerly
5 of Ball Road.
/]~e applicant requests permission for the erection of one "V Type" double
faced outdoor advertising structure.
WHEREAS, The (lty Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the City
8 Hall in the City of Anaheim, on September 4, 1956, NOTIfiES of which said Public
Hearing were duly given as required by law and the provisions of the ANAHEIM
9 MUNICIPAL CODP., Section 9200; and
10 WHEREAS, Said Commf, ssion, after due inspection, investigation and studies
made by itself and in its behalf and after due consideration of all evidence and
11 reports offqred at said Hearing, does find and determine the foS~owing facts:
lZ 1. %~ne subject property has been occupied for some years for the
manufacture of Trailers, an M-l, LIGHT~NUFACTURING use, but
15 granted by Variance by the County.
2. The Santa Aaa Preeway will probably become a landscaped freeway if
14 repuested by the City of Anaheim, in which case all signs will be
eliminated, so that the granting of this Variance will be temporary.
