WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received
Verified Petition from the proper~y owner(s) of certain real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
Tract No. 2624, consisting of Lots 1-54 and located on the North side
of Romneya Drive between West Street and ~-uclid Avenue and abuts the propgsed
Houston Street Preewa¥ on the North... The applicant, SPADROM ~.STAT~S,
8337 Wtlshire Boulevard, Beverly Hills, California, requests that the
above tract be reclassified from R-l, SINGI~-PAMILY RBSIDRNTIAL to R-3,
MULTIPL~-FAMILY Rt~IUSNTIAL.
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said VERIFIED PETITION of R~CLASSIFICATION
NO. F-56-57-21 on the 15th day of October , 19~6 , NOTICE of which said
Public Hearing was duly given as required by law and the provisions of the
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200: and
WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies
made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence
and reports offered at said Hearings, does find and determine the following facts:
i. This tzact lies be'~ween ~o single-family tracts and the htmsion
of this use could be detrimental to the single-family tracts.
2.The adltton of 64 multiple units could create a traffic problem
on Romneya Drive, which is only a 50 foot street.
3. Objections were received from the property owners in Tract No. 1999
to the West. Tract No. 2972 on the East has not been started and it
is possible thatthe same zuing would be requested, if this reclassi-
fication was granted.
