GRANTING VARIANC~ NO. 740
]. WHEREAS, The Cify Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received a
~erified Petit ion from WALTER C. BARBER, 32i North Placentia Avenue, Anaheim,
2 ~alifornia, as Owner, of a certain parcel of real property situated in ~.he City
bf Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows.-
That portion of Lot 7 of Anaheim Pxtension beginning at the centerline
4 of Placentia Av~ue and the centerline of Anaheim Union Water Company~
thence North along the centerline of Placentia Avenue, 91.5 feet;
5 thence West 156 feet; thence'North 133.5 feetI thence West 97 feet;
thence South 225 feet; thence East 253 feet to the point of beginning
6 and further described as 325 North Placentia Avenue, situated on the
West side of said street be*ween Center and Redwood.

The applicant requests perm.{ssion to constrHct a four-unit apartment

9 WHP~R~AS, The City Planning Commissioh did hold a Public Hearing mt the City
)all in the City of Anaheim, on April 22nd, 1957, NOTICRS of which said Public
10 (earing were duly giYen as required by law, mad the provisions of the AN;d~IM
MUNICIPAL CODP~, Section 9200; and

WI~R~S, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies
12 made by itself and in its behalf and after due consideration of all evidence
and reports offered at said Hearing~ does find and determine the following facts:
1. This is a lot of irregular shape facing on Plmcentia Avenue.
14 2. It is presently developed with a 6 unit rental unit a~d the owners~
single family dwelling.
15 3. There is enough land available for a four unit rental.
4. This makes a good buffer between Placentia Avenue and the single family
16 dwellings on the next street to the West.
17 NOR, THRREFORE, MR IT RESOLVRD THAT TitR ANAfH~IM CITY PLANNING CO~9~ISSION
HEREBY GRANTS VARIANCE NO. 740, subject to the erection of the building in accor-
18 dance wi~h the plans presented.
