A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNINC- COMMISSION OF TH~ CITY OF
ANAH~_IM. DENYING VARIANC~ NO. 747
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has recieved a
2 Verified Petition from LEST~R OtJNEAU, % Fireside Inn, 12029 Harbor Boulevard
Garden Grove, California, as Ortner of a certain parcel of ream property situated
~ in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follow::
4 Lot 18, Tract No. 1843 and further described as 115 Cenpla Way, situated
on ~he .West side of s~id street between Placentia Avenue and New Avenue,
5 Anaheim-Olive Road and Cefmr Street.
6 The applicant requests permission to construct a Bar and Restaurant.
7 WHYS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the City
Hall in the City of Anaheim, on May 6, 1957 at the hour of 2:00 O'Clock P.M.,
8 NU£ICES of which said Public Hearing were duly given as required by law and the
)rovisions of thc ANA~IM MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and

W~JLEAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies
i0 lade by itself and in its behalf and after due consideration of all evidence ~nd
reports made at said Hearings, does find and determine the following facts:

1 The property is. presently classified as C-1 N~IGHBORHOOD COMNt~RCIAL.
12 2. The use requested is 0-2, G~NERAL COS~RCIAL.
3. protests from single family residents in the area w~re received pro-
1~ testing the introduction of a bar in the area. on accoun% of hours of
operation, and traffic conditions that might be created.
14 4. The introduction of a Restaurant with a Bar might influence the uses
· to~' which the next' two vacant lots will be put.
15 5. The property can be used ~s presently classified f~r uses that would not
be ob3ectionable to single family residents in the area.
