A RESOLUTION OF TF~ CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF A~A~IM
RECOMMENDLNG TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF T~R CItY OF A~P~.IM THAT RECLASSLFICATION
NO. F--57-58-25 B~ AFPROV~D.
WHEREAS, The City Pl~n~ug Commission of the City of Anaheim has received
a Verified Petition from the property owner(s) of certain real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
Lots I and 2 of the Kellogg Homestead Tzact, in the City of Anaheim, County of
Oran§e~ State of california, as per Map therec, f recorded in Book $, Page 51, Mis-
cellaneous Maps, records of said county. Exc~'pting therefrom the East 3 ~cres of
said Lot 1. A/so excepting therefrom the south 277 feet thereof. The East line
of Lot 1 is the centerline of the 60 foot street known as Euclid Avenue.
The applicants, Raymond Speh~r ~nd R~.vmond Perrier, 8871 Katella Avenue, A~eim,
California~ request that the above property be reclassified from R-A, Residential
Agricultural to C-2: General Com~aercial.
WHEREAS, The City Pl~ing Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said VERIFIED PETITION of RECLASSITIOATION
NO. F- 57-58-23 on the 2nd,' day of December , 19 57, NOTICE of which said
Public Hearing was duly given as required by law and the provisions of the
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and
WN~REAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies
made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of ail evidence
and reports offered at said Hearings, does find and determine the following fac%s:
1. The applicant stip,~lated that he wo~ld be willing to accept C-I, Neighborhood
Commercial instead of C-2, ~neral Commercial as originally requested.
2. The applicant offeredto deed land required for the widening of Ball Road.
$. There is commercial zoning on the other three corners at this major intersection.
4. T~e l~n4 is not suitable for residential use.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAF~IM CITY PLA~ING C0MMIgSION
P~REBY RECOMMENDS TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAPrgIM THAT RECLASSIFICATION
