A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
GRANTING VARIANC~ NO. 854
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received
a Verified Petition from the Owner(s) of a certain parcel of real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
Lot 25 of Tract No. 483, as per map thereof recorded in Book 17, page 20 of Mis-
cellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California.; .~lso kno%~ as 1819 west
La Palma, Anaheim, Calif.
Applicant - William H. Ward, 246 E. Center St., Anaheim.
WHEREAS, The City PlAnning Commission did hold a P~blic Nearing at the
City Nall in the City of Ansheim, on December 16, 1957, NOTICES of which said
.Public Hearing were duly given as required by !aw and the provisions of the ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; amd
WHEREAS, Said Comm~ssion, after due inspection, investigation and studies
made by itself and in its behalf and after due consideration of all evidence and
reports offered at said Nearing, does find and determine the following facts:
1. This will be a one man conducted plumbing busim ss with all materials stored
in a building at the rear.
2. The applicant will use the dwelling as his residence.
3. Other commercial uses have been allowed in this area of W. I~ Palma Avenue.
4. The granting of the variance should not be detrimental to other properties in
the area.
NOW, TPIERE~0RE, BE IT RESOLVED THA~. THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNINg COMMISSION
HEREBY GP~t~T$ VARIANCE NO. 884, SUBJECT TO:
1. The deeding of 57 feet from the centerline of W. La Pa/ma Avenue for street
widening.
2. Engineering requirement~:.. ~ncluding the obtaining of an encrochment permit
for the front steps of the dwelling to be in the parkway.
