A RESOLUTION OF TRE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANA~E. IM
GRANTING YARIANC~
WHEREAS, The City Pl~n~ug Commfssion of the City of ~eim has received
a Verified Petition from the Owner(s) of a certain parcel of real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange. State of California, described as follows:
Lot 3 of Tract No. 426, in the city of Anaheim, county of Orange, state of Califor-
nia, as ~er map recorded in book 17, page 45 of Miscellaneous Maps, inthe of£ice
of ~he coun.~y recorder of said county.
A~plicant - Jessie G. Dyer, 239 ~cho St., Anaheim, Calif.
WHEREAS, The City Pl-n-lng Comm~ssiondid hold a PUblic Hearing at the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim, .tn December 16, 1957, NOTICES of which said
PUblic Hearing were duly given as required by law andthe provisions of the ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and
WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies
made by itself and'in its behalf and after due consideration of all evidence and
reports offered at said Hearing, does find and de%ermine the following facts:
1. A variance No. 548 was granted to use this building for Medical-Dental Offices,
in 1956 with a six month*s ex-tension.
2. The proposed use, a Beauty Salon, is a service business with no retail sales.
There will be ample parking provided at the rear of the property.
4. The proposed use ~uld not be detrimental to other properties in the area and
should improvo the area, as this dwelling has: been unoccupied for some length of
time.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT TNE AN~MEIM CITY FLANNING COMMISSION
REREBY GRANTS VARIANC~ NO. 887 TO O~PJkT~ A BEAUTY~ALON, SUBJECT TO:
1. The providing of improved off-street parking at the rear of the property.
2, Limiting ~ny sign to 16" X 24" similar to those used by the Dental office at
the corner of Cypress and Palm Streets.
3. Maintaining the present set-back line, if any remodeling is done to the front
of the dwelling.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me ~his 16th day of
