WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at
City ~alt in %he Cit'F of Anaheim upon said VERIFIED PETITION of RECId%S$IFICATI(N
NO. F-57 -5S-$8 on the 31st da7 of Jul7 , 1957 · NOTICE of w~ich said
Public Hearing ~as duly given as required by law and %he provisions of
ANAEEIM MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and
WEEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies
made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence
and reports offered at said Hearings, does find and determine the following facts:
(1) The Anaheim ;-lementazy School District has lots 1-25 inclusive
and 55-64 inclusive of Tract No. 2624 in e.~crow as a school site.

f2) ThiS elimina=es one street that would enter Romney= Drive making
all traffic go out thru one street to Romne~ Drive or along Chevy
Chase I=ive to the West, which is strictly a single family area.
(3) If left as R-l, there would be 110 po'ssible cars, and if changed as
requested some 400 c~rs, creating quite a difference in traffic
pattern.
(4) Mr. Simon ~isner, our Planning Consultant,/recommended that th-. area
be left as R-i, unless the lot sizes w~re increased and further
access be mzde to Romneya Drive by means of another street.
(5) It was the consensus of opinion of the Planning Co~iSsion that not
enough study had been given to the area when it w~s originally
recommended to the Cit~ Council for reclassificationlto R-3.
NOW, TH~0RE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE A~AHEIM CITY PLA~ING COMMISSION
P~BY REC0~S TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANA~IM THAT RECLASSIFICATION
NO. F-56-57-88 BE DENIED.
