PC 1957-1958-24 WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received
a Verified Petition from the Owner(s) of a certain parcel of real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
Situated on the Bast side of Placentia Avenue between Anaheim-Olive Ro-d and
Virginia Avenue, and further described as being the S½ of the SW~ o£ the NW~A
of the SW~ of Section 12, in T4S, X10W, in the Rancho San Juan C~jon de Santa
Ana, as shown on a Map thereof recorded iu Book 51, Page 10, Miscel~eous
Maps, records of said Orange County.
PET1TION~ - Westport Development Co., 9886 Garden Grove Blvd., Garden Grove.
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a ~blic Hearing at the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim, on August $, 1957, NOTICES of which said
Public Hearing were duly given as required by law and the provisions of the ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9Z00; and
WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies
made by itself and in its behalf and after due consideration of all evidence and
reports offered at said Nearing, does find and determine the following facts:
(1) The property is presently classified as C-i, N~IGHBOP. HOOD COMA~RCLAL.
(2) The two front Lots Nos. 1 and 15 are being reserved for commercial uses,
and the balance of the Lots 2-14 are being converted to R-3 uses by a
,T~atative Map of Tract No. 3288 approved by the Commission on June 17, 1957.
(3) A Variance is necessary to use Lot No. 1 for a Service Station, which
station will be just south of the Thriftimart parking area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
HEREBY GRANTS VARIANC~ NO. 795 SUBJECT TO:
(1) Filing Deed Restrictions limiting Lot i for Service Station only.
(2) Piling Deed Restrictions on Lot 15 for C-1 uses.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me this 5th day of
