WHEREAS, The City Plan_n_ing Commission of. the City of Anaheim has received
a Verified Petition from the Owner(s) of a certain parcel of real property situated
in She City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
The N.,'.~ of the ~J.~ of the ~,'J~ of ~he NW.~of oectzor, 22, T~S,
RiOW, in the Rancho San juan Cajon de Santa Aha, as ~own on a
map thereof recorded in Book 51, Page 7, et seq., i~iscellaneous
i,laps, records of said Orange County; Excepting therefrom the
North 200 feet of the Wes~ 200 feet thereof.and
The applic~_nt requests permission to erect a forty-two unit ~iOTEL.
Wt~EAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the
City Hall in the City of ~-naheim, on July 22, 1957 NOTICES of which said
Public Hearing were duly given as required by law and the. provisions of the ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE, Section ~200; and
, WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies
made by itself and in its behalf and after due consideration of all evidence and
.'[' reports offered at said Hearing, does find and determine the following facts:
1. The property is presently classified as R-A, RESIDENT.~'/AL-
AGRICULTUEAL, a transitional zone.
~ 2. The proposed use, namely, a motel is in keeping with the
development of the area.
3. The granting of the variance will no~ be detrimental to
other properties in ~he area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
HERESY GRANTS VARIANCE NO. 782 SUBJECT TO:
' 1. The deeding of 20 feet along the Sou~h side of Ball
Road for street widening.
2. Engineering requLrements.
3. Construction of Mo~el in accordance with the plans pre-
sent ed.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me this 22nd day of
July, 1957.
